Last day at Disney. I think mom and I were both sad. We have been treated like queens for the past seven days and now back to reality. We both got up early and trudged all our suitcases to the airline baggage counter at Port Orleans. I really wish Disney was able to pick up bags too, just like they drop them off with Magical Express.

We decided our last day was to be spent at Epcot. We were just going to browse around and then have lunch at Rose & Crown in the UK.

We walked around the World Pavilion for awhile. We stopped at Italy and saw a great street show by the Ziti Sisters. Very funny and worth the time to watch we then headed to Germany. For some reason today, the trip was very unmagical. People were pushing each other and just acting like jackasses. Mom was looking at a beer stein, turns and has a woman walk right into her. We both knew it was time to go back home.

Travel Tip: Avoid holidays like Columbus Day. The Parks are packed.

I wish the day was better but the Rose & Crown was even worse. Even though we had reservations, we had to wait in a line to check in for about 15 minutes. Then wait another 15 minutes to seat. To top it off the food was awful and so was the waiter. My food was cold and mom only received two measly pieces of fish in her dish. The worst part: it was a $40 lunch and we both left hungry. I was looking forward to lunch here before we headed back and it was an extremely disappointing experience.

At this point we had enough and headed back to the resort. We had a couple hours to wait before the bus picked us up. It was fun thinking back to the great time we had. It was sad to go.

Finally the bus came and we boarded. Mom and I both took a final look at our home for the past week and headed off to Orlando International Airport. We had fun but definitely knew it was time to head back.
